Meizu 21 Note with top-end specifications launched in China

Meizu has finally launched the much-awaited Meizu 21 Note. Despite many rumors, the device is now officially available. Meizu revealed the 21 Note in China on May 16th. Previous leaks gave us most of the details, but the price remained a mystery until today. The Meizu 21 Note offers excellent specs at a fair price.

Meizu 21 Note Specifications

Display

The Meizu 21 Note has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It adjusts the refresh rate from 1Hz to 144Hz automatically. The display can achieve up to 5000 nits brightness and 1600 nits in HBM mode. It also supports 2160 Hz PWM dimming.

Processor and RAM

The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It comes in two versions: 16GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. It uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The 21 Note isn’t the top model in the Meizu 21 series, but it’s impressive that both versions have 16GB of RAM.

Battery

The new Meizu 21 Note has a dual-camera setup. It features a 50MP f/1.7 main camera (S5KGN5) and a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera (S5K3L6). The front has a 16MP selfie camera. Only the main camera has OIS. The phone can record videos in up to 8K resolution and includes dual speakers.

Battery and design

The Meizu 21 Note has a large 5500 mAh battery in a slim 8.2mm body. It charges at 66W. Meizu’s design is impressive for fitting such a big battery into a thin phone. Usually, phones with batteries over 5000 mAh are thicker than 8.2mm.

The phone is available in black and white. The white version also features white bezels.

Pricing

The base version (16GB+256GB) costs 2599 CNY (about 360 USD). The 16GB+512GB version is priced at 2799 CNY (around 387 USD).
