Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo Y50 5G in China. Before its launch, this budget smartphone appeared in China Telecom’s product database, revealing its key specifications, design, and pricing. Another device named Vivo Y50m 5G also listed there showcasing almost identical specifications.
Vivo Y50 5G Specifications, Design, and Pricing
The Vivo Y50 5G features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. It measures 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19mm, and weighs 209g. This device may come in three color options: Platinum, Azure, and Diamond Black. It comes with model number V2443A.
The Y50 5G will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 (MT6835T) chipset. It will have 4GB/6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage option. Also, there will be a microSD slot for expansion.
On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera housed in a water drop notch, while the rear features a single 13MP camera with LED flash. The Vivo Y50 5G will feature a massive 6000mAh battery for power and will support 44W fast charging.
The Y50 5G may come in four storage options: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. According to China Telecom, the pricing could start at around 1,299 Yuan (~$180) and go up to 2,299 Yuan (~$320).
Vivo Y50 5G may launch on July 18 or before in China. China Telecom also revealed another smartphone with model number V2443BA, allegedly Vivo Y50m 5G, which will launch with almost identical features to the Y50 5G.
