Realme GT 8 Pro officially teased with a 7000mAh battery and 120W fast charging

The official poster compared the GT 8 Pro’s battery with last year’s GT 7 Pro battery. The Realme GT 7 Pro featured a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support and no wireless charging feature.

In contrast, the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro sports a larger 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. There will also be bypass charging features to ensure smooth and cool gaming performance during charging.

According to Realme, the GT 8 Pro can charge from 0 to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. Despite having a larger battery, it is 8.20 mm in thickness, while its predecessor measured 8.5 mm.

Recent reports claimed that the Realme GT 8 may feature a 6.78-inch 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 + R1 chip, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7 and weigh between 209 and 214 grams.

The device will sport a Ricoh-certified 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor, supporting 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video.
