OPPO’s upcoming flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, has been circulating in rumors for quite some time. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will debut globally later this year, marking a significant move for its premium Ultra series.
The confirmation came during OPPO’s media briefing at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, where company executives emphasized the device’s strong emphasis on next-generation mobile photography.
The Find X9 Ultra will be the first Oppo Ultra device to launch outside China. Branded as “Built to Be Your Next Camera,” it comes equipped with an advanced imaging system developed in partnership with Hasselblad. Oppo executives highlighted that this new Ultra model aims to raise the standard for smartphone photography. Full specifications, pricing, and regional launch details will be revealed closer to the official release.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra specifications
According to past rumors and leaks, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution. It isn’t certain whether it will feature a 144Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It may run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. On the rear panel, this device may feature a quad-camera setup featuring a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and an additional 50MP periscope sensor as well. There will be a 50MP selfie camera on the front.
The Find X9 Ultra will feature a 7,050mAh battery, slightly smaller than the Find X9 Pro’s 7,500mAh cell but larger than the 6,100mAh battery in the Find X8 Ultra. It will support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging also.
