OPPO is preparing to launch the upcoming OPPO Reno16 Pro and OPPO Reno16. Early details reveal a strong focus on camera, performance, and battery upgrades across both models.
Oppo Reno16 series key specifications
The OPPO Reno16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO flat display with LIPO technology for slimmer bezels and a metal frame. In contrast, the OPPO Reno16 may come with a smaller 6.3-inch 1.5K flat display.
The Pro variant is tipped to run on the Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for flagship-level performance. The standard Reno16 could use either the Dimensity 8500 or Dimensity 8550, offering solid mid-to-high-end performance.
Both models might feature a 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor. The Pro model may include a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, while the standard variant may also have a 50MP periscope lens. For selfies, both devices could offer a 50MP front camera.
The OPPO Reno16 Pro is expected to pack a massive 7000mAh battery. While the Reno16 could feature a slightly smaller 6500mAh unit. Both models carry IP68/IP69 ratings for durability.
